Current Positions:

MEMBER SERVICES SPECIALIST
Full-Time, Work location may vary & include multiple sites

In this role, as a Member Services Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for members, assisting them with their financial needs. You will handle a variety of transactions, resolve member concerns, and provide outstanding service while promoting the products and services that best support our members’ financial goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome members with professionalism and provide superior service by proactively resolving issues.
  • Work with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed members’ needs while taking ownership of solutions.
  • Receive and process requests and transactions, including opening/closing accounts and processing loan requests.
  • Stay informed on credit union products, services, policies, and procedures to confidently answer questions and cross-sell when appropriate. 
  • Research and resolve member issues, including technical concerns, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Assist members with account maintenance, including updating information and setting up online banking. 
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures while maintaining accurate records


Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations and provide effective solutions. 
  • Outgoing and personable, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage responsibilities, and work with diplomacy across departments.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service (financial services experience preferred)

ASSET RECOVERY REPRESENTATIVE
Full Time – Central Branch

As an Asset Recovery Representative, you will help manage and collect delinquent accounts by reaching out to members, setting up payment arrangements, and coordinating repossessions in accordance with state laws. You will provide administrative support for bankruptcy and legal matters, prepare necessary documentation, and collaborate with attorneys, repossession agents, and other departments to ensure timely and effective resolution. Additionally, you will process recovery payments, generate reports, and assist the Asset Recovery Manager with related responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • To collect on delinquent accounts, including contacting members by any means available and devising payment plans to bring accounts current.
  • To provide administrative assistance on bankrupt accounts including preparing required bankruptcy documentation in accordance with collecting attorney instructions. Work with management and business partners to repossess vehicles in compliance with state law. Ensure effective follow up with attorneys and repossession agents.
  • To communicate and coordinate Asset Recovery matters relating to other departments and display sound management practices, quality decision-making and insight.
  • To participate as needed in preparing information for legal action on collection and foreclosure files. Process recovery payments received from collection attorneys, bankruptcy trustees, and other sources. Prepare check requests, reports and other tasks assigned by the Asset Recovery Manager.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year in the collection field is preferred.
  • Must have strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

LENDING SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
Full-Time

The Lending Services Representative serves a vital role within the Lending Department by supporting multiple servicing functions. This position helps ensure seamless lending operations while safeguarding the Credit Union’s security interests on secured loans, meeting regulatory requirements, and providing outstanding member service.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • To track and provide support as needed to ensure secured consumer loan lien perfection. Perform lien releases for paid secured loans including the posting of incoming dealership checks.
  • Perform accurate file maintenance and provide appropriate member notifications as required by policy while fielding member inquiries related to various lending tasks.
  • Maintain open communication channels with members, third party vendors, co-workers, and management.  
  • To review and process Collateral Placed Insurance (CPI) reports and invoicing from Allied Solutions for secured consumer loans as well as mortgage loans.
  • Contact members before the final placement of CPI, add CPI to uninsured loan accounts, prepare loan modifications as needed, and ensure proper credits are issued by Allied when coverage is cancelled. Provide documentation updates to Allied Solutions where borrower insurance exists (if available).
  • Maintain the monthly End of Watch qualification report, ensuring accounts are coded correctly and the signed waiver is in file.
  • Provide primary and back-up support as needed for department production reporting. Perform other related duties as assigned.
