In his first speech as Prime Minister and on the threshold of possibly the most daunting task ever to be faced by a human being in the history of mankind, Winston Churchill famously noted that all he had to offer was “blood, toil, sweat, and tears.”

This is a question I find myself asking A LOT when I am trying to figure out why the traffic in front of me is not moving even though the light is green and the path is otherwise clear.

I am not much of a skier, which is why I should’ve known better than to ride to the top of a black diamond run.

If you’ve never been a victim of an information security breach or had your credit card data comprised or even paid much attention to the importance of securing and protecting your personal information, chances are you may now have a different perspective.

Remember when you were kid and you were asked that question?  I do.  Today, it is just as exciting to hear someone ask one of my kids that same question.  There is just something about that question that lays the whole world at your feet and makes anything sound possible.

Whether you consider yourself a savvy investor with money to burn or you feel as though you are struggling to make ends meet, the act of creating a plan to understand and manage your own personal finances is a necessity if you hope to gain and maintain control of your own financial situation.

Most people associate will power with dieting and whether or not they will be able to display the type of self-discipline needed to forego that really luscious looking dessert that is sitting in front of them.

No one wants to be labeled as a complainer. In fact, making a complaint often involves conjuring up negative energy that leads to a highly variable, generally unsatisfying result. So, you decide that you shouldn’t bother and you move on…or do you?

Today, you cannot listen to talk radio or even watch television late at night or early in the morning without being besieged with infomercials touting various “get rich” schemes and strategies.

Lastly, don’t fail to exercise your version of common sense especially if it involves creating the potential for a long term problem because you want to avoid a potential short term conflict.
