A trusted business partner of the Credit Union, Gwen’s Helping Hands, LLC is run by Gwendolyn Hawkins, who is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor. Gwen has worked with the Credit Union for over 25 years, and she specializes in working with First Responders.

Credit Freezes

Looking for stronger ways to protect your credit? Thanks to a new federal law, now you can place a free credit freeze on your credit report for yourself and children under 16.

What is it? A credit freeze restricts access to your credit file, making it harder for identity thieves to open new accounts in your name. Usually, you get a PIN to use each time you want to freeze and unfreeze your account to apply for new credit.
