Earlier this year the producer of the Mortgage Beat shared a fun fact with me. Chicago has the second largest police department in the country. Just as impressive, it's actually the fourth largest in the world behind New York City, London, and Tokyo.
I'd say probably pound for pound though that New York and Chicago are the toughest. Obviously, I’m biased but I think our country simply has a higher level of crime and danger.
